Palak Pakoda



 This was easy to make tea time snack. This was a snack made in a hurry, when all of us craved for some spicy snack to have in the evening.
 I just picked some spinach leaves from our garden and made these crispy delicious pakodas. Yes, it was tasty than normal pakoda. Anyway, indulging the green spinach in some form in our diet.
  Spinach has a high nutritional value and is extremely rich in antioxidants. It is a rich source of vitamin A, C ,E ,K , Magnesium , manganese , folate , betaine , iron , vitamin B2 , calcium, potassium , folic acid , copper , protein , phosphorous , zinc , selenium vitamin B6 and omega - 3 fatty acids.

Requirements :
Spinach leaves – 25
Besan flour – 2 cup
Onion - 1
Rice flour – ½ cup
Chilli powder – 1 tbs
Hing / Asafoetida – ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Method :
Wash and chop the spinach leaves.
In a bowl , add the besan , rice flour , chilli powder , hing and salt , mix well.

Add the chopped onion and spinach , mix well.
Sprinkle the required water and make the batter.

Heat oil in a kadai , fry small balls of the batter.

Crispy palak pakodas are ready to serve.
